On July 3rd, my husband and I spent the afternoon at a local bird sanctuary, I have never been so excited about the opportunity to take photos of birds. Since getting our new cameras earlier this year we have tried to take a field trip or walk at least once a week to take photos and try to become more familiar with our cameras. This week's field trip was the bird sanctuary. WOW, I can't really describe the feeling I get when I have this type of opportunity and then the excitement I feel to see those photos on my computer is kind of like waiting for Christmas morning. Taking photos of the birds and then identifying them has been a lot of fun and educational.
